HEATH Remote Laser Methane Detector (Model: RMLD-CS) uses the same TDLAS (Tuned Laser Diode Absorption Spectroscopy) technology as the existing RMLD. When passing through the methane gas distribution point, it absorbs some of the light from the methane gas, then collects the reflected light from the device and converts it into an electrical signal to compose the appropriate concentration of methane. Through this signal conversion process, the concentration of methane is expressed as PPM-M (PPM per unit meter). This laser beam only reacts with methane, so it reacts with other hydrocarbon gases. does not malfunction.

With these technologies, you can walk through difficult-to-access places or the entire supply pipeline on foot. You can perform leak detection efficiently, quickly and safely up to a point of up to 30 m within the field of view without the need for inspection.
